Oklahoma's Daniel Franklin is not in a position to be counted on heading into the season opener as middle linebacker Austin Box is out for at least the season opener with a bad back. Franklin will likely end up backup up starter Tom Wort at MIKE-backer. Franklin talked about the progress of the defense headed into fall and what the defense must focus on with the season opener just two weeks away.
