Sanders says UF is focused, not fractured
Florida's football team began preparations for the 2010 season focused, not fractured.
One team. One ambition.
"We all have the same goal," senior defensive tackle Terron Sanders said after practice Thursday. "Everybody that was on the team felt the heartbreak that we experienced. None of us want to do it again. We're doing what we have to prepare."
Motivation stems from a humbling 32-13 loss to Alabama in the SEC Championship Game. A team that considered itself invincible after 22 consecutive victories watched its hopes of a second consecutive national championship melt away on the Georgia Dome turf.
"Anytime you lose a game, especially one that big, you always focus on the points that caused you to lose the game," Sanders said. "That's really been a factor in how hard we've been training and why we have been working so hard."
