Newport News (Va.) Menchville athlete Clifton Richardson committed to Virginia in March. Although it was a soft commitment, the pledge from the four-star prospect showcased UVa head coach Mike London's recruiting prowess within the state's borders. Over the weekend, Richardson participated in the Peninsula All-Star Camp and sat in on David Watford's announcement in favor of the Cavaliers.
