Henderson Backs up His Talking
There are times when a player has a dominant camp performance but questions still remain. But when a player like Jenks, Okla. defensive tackle Ashton Henderson comes along not only can you see his talent coming, you can hear it. The never-quiet run-stuffer was easily the voice of the recent Tulsa Schuman camp and could be heard from all areas of the field but unlike many big-talkers there was nothing hollow about his game.
Henderson, who says his talk is all about the fun of the game, enjoyed the chance to compete with some guys in his age range.
"I had never been around people my age to play against because ever since my freshman year in high school I was moved up to varsity and I don't' get to play against people in my age group," the 6-foot-2, 321-pound Henderson said. "It was a good experience."
