Sooner Commit Hoping to Better Historic Season
With three weeks of spring football behind him, Round Rock (Texas) Stony Point's P.L. Lindley is still feeling good about his decision in February to verbally commit to Oklahoma. The outside linebacker made his decision along with teammate Jordan Wade and fellow Texas Chris Barnett of Euless Trinity at Oklahoma's first junior day to make five total commitments before the end of the month.
While he made an early decision to join then Sooner commitments Kameel Jackson and Kendal Thompson, Lindley did not grow up a fan of the Sooners. However, he always respected the program and cannot wait to start his career in Norman.
"When I was there, it just had that good feeling," Lindley remembered. "It was a good atmosphere down there for me with the coaches and the campus."
