Receivers shine on day eight
Another sunny day in Reser Stadium showcased the offensive fire-power of the receivers and running backs. While dark clouds started to roll in from the south, the Beavers continued to work on drills to improve as their march through Spring Camp continued into the third week.
Peter Lalich and Ryan Katz continued to split time with the first team offense, while sophomore Cody Vaz took snaps with the two's and three's. All three made some good throws as they continue to build rapport with the receivers.
Speaking of the receivers Markus Wheaton continues to impress as he runs sharp routes and makes big catches. Not sure if it is possible, but James Rodgers continues to elevate his game. The rivalry that brews between he and James Dockery is entertaining, but they push each other and it is making each of them better players.
