Despite having family ties to Iowa State, Omaha (Neb.) Elkhorn linebacker Trevor Roach said it was an easy decision for him to walk-on at Nebraska rather than head to Ames.

Though he was offered full scholarships by a couple of Division II schools, he said he's confident he can compete in Lincoln. What led him to opt in favor of NU?
