Fouls plague Wildcats victory at Colorado
BOULDER, Colo. -- Coming into Saturday's game with Colorado, it seemed ill-advised for the 12th-ranked Kansas State Wildcats to get into a foul-laden, free-throw-heavy game with the Buffaloes. Colorado, after all, is one of the nation's best free throw shooting teams, converting 77 percent of its attempts compared to 66 percent for the Wildcats. However, after a game that featured a combined 68 fouls and 94 free throw attempts, it was K-State leaving the court with a hard-fought 87-81 road victory at the Coors Event Center.
