Shane Southwell slipped through the recruiting cracks for many, but not for Kansas State coach Frank Martin and associate head coach Dalonte Hill. The K-State coaches identified the 6-foot-6 combo guard as a perfect fit for what they want to do with K-State's program and Southwell was one of three recruits to ink with the Wildcats in the early signing period.
