Reed gives A&M visit high marks
Cleveland defensive end Cedric Reed is one of the top prospects in the class of 2011. He's already got 15 offers from schools across the country and he's actually already visited the campuses of some of the programs that have offered him, including Texas A&M where he saw two games as a sophomore. He's also been in contact with Texas among other schools and visited Austin this year.
On Thanksgiving Day, the 6-foot-6, 240-pound Reed and his father decided to make an impromptu visit to College Station to see two teams in action that both parties had an interest in. Although Reed admits that it was his father's idea, he was more than happy to make the trip and was glad that he did.
Reed has scholarship offers from Texas A&M, Arkansas, Baylor, LSU, Houston, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, North Carolina, Stanford, Texas Tech and Vanderbilt. He is also gaining significant interest from Texas, USC and Florida.
